on 19/20-5-2020 night some unknown miscreants using gas cutter devise did cut a hole into the ATM of SBI at kauslya under KGP Town PS and drew out a metal container containing Rs 7,88500/- ( seven lakh eighty eight thousand and five hundred only) and disappeared with said amount of cash.

Acting on the tip of on 29/30-5-20 night arrested one samir Mahato of Dalkati sardiha under jhargram PS and leading to his statement recovered Rs 100000/- and one Huindai Eion car No. WB 50B 5187 ( from the house his relative at jamboni, jhargram). On interrogation he told that one Somnath Nath Chatterjee of Arambati PS Kgp town ( he was earlier arrested by kgp town ps for misappropriation of Rs one crore while loading the cash of various ATM of SBI in c/ w case No. 328/19 dt 13/7/19. He was an employee of an agency loading cash in ATMs) hatched the plan with one Akhilesh yadav of Arambati PS Kgp town and he arranged to collect the other members of gang namely Raju Soren of Arambati PS Kgp town, Rakesh Bera of Choto Aima PS Kgp town and conjointly committed the crime. From Somnath, Raju, Akhikesh, and Rakesh remaing 4 19000( Four lakh nineteen thousand only) were recovered. Said Rakesh arranged the gas cutter. Somnath after getting his share got his motorcycle No WB 34 AN 0667 released which was kept in mortgage after paying Rs 30000/-. Recovered one bank account book of Akhikesh where he kept part of his share of booty.
