Kharagpur Railway Main Hospital Will Be Closed For 72 Hours

As fair numbers of the healthcare workers of Divl. Hospital, S.E.Rly/ KGP have been infected with COVID-19, an emergency meeting was held at this hospital Auditorium on 31-08-20 in presence of all Doctors, ANO A.Ph.O, Sisters and other stalf of this hospital and it was unanimously decided to close the Rly Hospital for 72 hours (31-08-20 to 02-09- 20) for thorough sanitisation of indoor wards, outdoor and other hospital premises.
The hospital entrance gate will be closed and private security guards as well as RPF security personnel will be deployed at the entrance gate, As such, no services will be provided during this period. However, to avoid any untoward incidence for emergency patients, a make shift arrangement is proposed at Rly Qrs No. 418 which is adjacent to this hospital to take care of only serious IOD cases and other acute emergency cases.

Sr D.E.E (G)/ KGP has been requested for necessary electrical connections & fittings at the above mentioned make shift centre. Sr.D.S.T.E(Co)/ KGP has been requesied for Rly telephone connection. During this period, serious IOD cases and other acute emergency cases will be provided first aid/ preliminary treatment and will be referred to higher centres like Midnapore Medical College Hospital or private tie-up hospitals.
