The COVID-19 vaccination drive for people above 60 years and those aged 45 and above with comorbidities will beging on at 9 am to 5 pm in West Bengal. The coronavirus vaccines will be administered free of cost at government hospitals and health centres while Rs 250 will be charged for it at private facilities.
In Paschim Medinipur District, 11 Government Hospitals Have Been Selected For The Programme. The Number Will Be Gradually Increased. Covaxin & Covishield Vaccines are being Given At Kharagpur Sub Divisional Hospital, Kharagpur Railway Hospital (Covaxin & Covishield), Hijli Rural Hospital - (Covaxin & Covishield), MMCH Midnapore (Covaxin & Covishield), Medinipur Police Hospital (Covishield), Midnapur UFWC (Covishield), Khandrui RH (Covishield), Keshiary RH (Covishield), UFWC Keranitola (Covaxin), Ghatal SDH (Covaxin & Covishield), Dantan RH (Covishield).
