Due to the sealing of the border of Orissa and Bengal with respect to the corona, the movement of people of one state to another state has become difficult. With the help of the West Medinipur District Administration and the West Medinipur District Police, around 600 people who have come in ambulances from various hospitals in South India have been placed in the Dr BC Roy Institute of Medical Science And Research Of IIT Kharagpur (IIT Medical Collage) located At Balarampur for the qurantine and isolation. they will be sent home after determining the COVID 19 test.

According to Kharagpur SDPO, Food and medical assistance has been provided to the people coming on quarantine with the help of Subdivision Hospital and SDO office. we are also grateful to our Additional Superintendent of Police, Kharagpur and SDO Kharagpur, who fought the remaining battle with us. We also thank the Gurudwara PC and Mohan Rao of Balaji Temple for providing food to the stranded people and also to the volunteers who purchased the trapped patients, medicines, ice and oxygen.
